Special evening of celebration

BALLINA Rugby Club will host a special evening of celebration tomorrow (Friday) in the clubhouse to honour their latest Irish senior international, David Heffernan.

This is a very special occasion and everyone in the region - young and old - are invited to come along and celebrate with David and his family.

The fun gets under way at 8 p.m. in the newly refurbished clubhouse, and admission is free.

David earned his Ireland call-up for the summer tour to America and Japan, and made his debut against the US Eagles on June 10.
