Death being treated as homicide
THE death of a man in Mayo at the weekend is being treated as homicide following a post-mortem examination.
The man, who was visiting from the UK, was found outside a house near Swinford on Saturday morning with apparent head injuries.Â
He was taken by ambulance to Mayo University Hospital and later removed to Beaumont Hospital, where he died.
An incident room has been established at Claremorris Garda Station, where a press conference will be held this evening.
