Brady calls for key Mayo role for Shane Nally

FORMER Mayo GAA star David Brady has called for Garrymore ace Shane Nally to be handed a key role in Mayo's All-Ireland SFC semi-final clash against Kerry at Croke Park on Sunday.

Speaking to Midwest Radio, Brady said Nally's 'maturity and touch on the ball' were worthy of strong consideration by the Mayo management team and selectors.

He elaborated: 'He has displayed his qualities for us on a number of occasions and he is one player who can made a significant difference against Kerry.'

Brady added he would like to see Lee Keegan, if fit, playing in a more forward position while he felt the Mayo forwards can capitalize on a tendency by the Kerry defenders to give away needless frees. Â
