Passing of popular Castlebar personality

THE death has taken place of Johnny Dowling, Fr. Meehan Place, and formerly of McHale Road, Castlebar.

The deceased was held in very high regard in the community and news of his passing is widely mourned in the town. He was a member of Castlebar Golf Club.

Deepest sympathy is extended to his bereaved family and friends.

His remains will be reposing in The Coady Funeral Home on Thursday from 6.30 p.m. with removal at 8 p.m. to The Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar.

Requiem Mass takes place on Friday at 11 a.m. with burial afterwards in the New Cemetery, Castlebar.
