Caution urged on roads across Mayo tonight

GARDAÍ have advised motorists that roads across the county are becoming increasingly dangerous as freezing conditions follow the earler showfalls in many places.

The best advice is to avoid driving althogether, particularly later on, although main roads are being treated.

Many events planned for tonight have been cancelled due to the conditions.

It is just not worth taking the risk of travelling.
