Aldi is committed to growing its Irish supply base and increasing the number of Irish products available in its stores.

Last year Aldi spent over €700 million with Irish producers, manufacturers and suppliers.

Bord Bia’s Retail Audit on the Bord Bia Quality Assurance Mark found that 85% of Aldi’s fresh meat range displayed the Quality Assurance Mark, giving Aldi the highest ranking of the nine supermarkets and convenience store chains surveyed.

Aldi also recently increased its support for small Irish suppliers by reducing its payment terms to 14 days for suppliers that transact up to €300k annually with Aldi.
