Aurivo appointments to executive team

AURIVO has announced two senior appointments: Sheila Maloney to the position of general manager of agribusiness and Marilyn Phillips to the role of group head of HR.

A native of Co. Sligo, Sheila joined the Aurivo agribusiness team in 1998 and most recently worked as commercial manager. Following the recent promotion of Stephen Blewitt to general manager dairy, Sheila will formally take up her new position on November 5. Sheila will lead a team of 250 customer focussed colleagues across 34 locations delivering for customers.

A new addition to the Aurivo team, Marilyn Phillips has been appointed to the position of group head of HR. Born in Mayo, she grew up on a dairy farm and has extensive experience across a wide range of industries, including mobile telecoms, professional services, FMCG and medical devices.

Her most recent role was as HR director for Europe at Phillips Medisize, a Molex company, where she was responsible for facilities in Sligo, Letterkenny, Netherlands, The Czech Republic, Switzerland, Finland and Denmark. Prior to this, she worked as European HR director for Kellogg’s, running HR practices in northern and western Europe, the UAE and Russia. She previously worked in HR with both Grant Thornton and Three Ireland.

In her new role at Aurivo, Marilyn will lead out on HR strategy, employee relations, compensation and benefits, talent acquisition and development.

Sheila holds a Bachelor of Science from IT Carlow and a Diploma in Management from the University of Limerick. Sheila also studied accountancy with Griffith College Dublin.

After studying journalism, Marylin went on to study Business and HR at Dublin City University. She also holds a Masters in HR from DCU and a Diploma in Employment Law from the Law Society of Ireland.
