Ballintubber remain on course to lift their first senior provincial crown.

The Mayo kingpins booked their place in the Connacht Club SFC final with an emphatic victory over Aughawillan in this afternoon's penultimate round clash at Carrick-on-Shannon.

The side's opening goal in the 44th minute by James Finnerty, followed by a second one by him a minute later, proved the turning point while Gary Plunkett was in inspirational form.

Ballintubber will face defending champions Corofin in the decider on November 25 at Elverys MacHale Park, Castlebar.
