Mayo IFA fundraiser for cancer patients' bus
THE Mayo IFA executive, in conjunction with Aurivo and McHale Farm Machinery, Ballinrobe, have teamed up to support Cancer Care West in completing the purchase of a bus that will provide a service for Mayo cancer patients travelling to Galway for treatment.
Martin Gilvarry, chairman of Mayo IFA, says there has been a huge response within the IFA branch network in Mayo in selling tickets for a fundraising raffle which will be held in the Halfway House in Islandeady on March 1.
Cancer Care West are very grateful to Mayo IFA, Aurivo, McHale’s and the Mayo public for supporting this fundraiser.
The theme, 'Help us pay for the bus you never want to be on', has caught the imagination of the Mayo public and all involved.
Tickets are available through the IFA branch network and by also contacting Martin Gilvarry on (086) 6082173, Padraic Joyce on (087) 2898725 or Maria Ryan on (087) 6655283.
