Award for Mayo referee

MAYO referee Jimmy Cawley has received a special award.

Jimmy has been awarded honorary membership of the Irish Soccer Referees Society (ISRS) for services to refereeing in Ireland.

On their Facebook page this afternoon, the Irish Soccer Referees Society Mayo Branch extended its sincerest congratulations to Jimmy, who is pictured here receiving his presentation from Martin Halligan, assistant treasurer of the ISRS and secretary of the Mayo Branch ISRS.

The branch said: "It is a great honour for the Mayo Branch ISRS to have two members receive this recognition."

Mick Walsh was also recently recognised for his contribution to refereeing with honorary membership.
