School signs contract for new €3m building

THE contract for a new building costing in the region of €3 million at Saint Louis Community School in Kiltimagh was signed this week.

The builders will be moving on site on Tuesday, March 19, the school confirmed on its Facebook page over the weekend.

The project comprises seven new classrooms, a large multi-purpose room, additional toilet facilities and offices.

There's been lots to celebrate at St. Louis this week after the school were crowned Connaught Senior A champions when they defeated Oranmore on Friday.

They'll be in action again this Tuesday in the FAI Schools Dr. Tony O'Neill Senior National Cup Under 19s semi-final when they face Carndonagh CS at 1 p.m. in Ray MacSharry Park, Sligo.
