Fine Gael selects its local election team in Claremorris

FINE Gael has selected a three-strong team to run in the Claremorris electoral area in next May's local elections.

It consists of outgoing councillors Tom Connolly, Claremorris, John Cribbin, Ballyhaunis, and Patsy O'Brien, Hollymount.

The redrawn district will return six elected members on this occasion.

The Fine Gael party in Mayo has now completed its candidate selection process in the county, apart from the ratification of Breege Grealis in the Belmullet area.
