Mayo man re-elected ifac chairperson

IFAC, professional advisors to the farming food and agribusiness sector, has announced the re-election of Sean Clarke as chairperson of the organisation and Teddy Cashman as vice-chairperson.

Before Sean became chairperson he had been a member of ifac’s board for a number of years, representing members in the Mayo/Galway area, and previously an IFA representative.

Speaking about his re-election, he said: “At ifac we are committed to providing top quality advice and support to clients in the farming, food and agri-business sectors.

I am honoured to have been re-elected as chairman of this wonderful business. I’ve enjoyed working closely with CEO John Donoghue and his team over the last two years and I’m looking forward to continuing my work with them over the next two.

I am determined that we will continue our ongoing development of our services and offer unparalleled advice to help our clients deal with current challenges and any others that may arise, particularly with Brexit looming and its unknown challenges.”

Founded in 1975, ifac has 30 offices nationwide providing advice to farming, food and agribusinesses on tax, accountancy, pension planning, succession planning and other professional service areas to help clients to build and retain profitable, sustainable businesses.
