Funeral of angler who died in Lough Mask boating accident

THE funeral arrangements have been announced of the Mayo angler who died in a boating accident at Lough Mask on March 8 last.

The body of Sean Maloney (78), Church View, Ballinrobe, was found by sub-aqua divers last Saturday following a three-week search operation.

His remains will be reposing at Cummins Funeral, Ballinrobe, on Wednesday from 5.30 to 7.30 p.m.

Requiem Mass takes place in St. Mary"s Church, Ballinrobe, on Thursday at 12 noon followed by Committal Service at Shannon Crematorium.

Sean is survived by his daughters Karen, Geraldine and Glenna, brother Enda, sistets Nan, Kathleen, Lil, Margaret and Philo, grandchildren, extended family, friends and members of the angling community, to whom deepest sympathy is tendered.

May his gentle soul rest in peace.
