More rain is on the way, says Met. Èireann

A STATUS Yellow rain warning is in place for Mayo.

Between 25 and 32mm. of rainfall are forecast over the coming 18 hours.

The warning comes to an end at 9 a.m. tomorrow. 

There are hopes the weather will pick up next week.
