Mayo to host WOW Summit on September 25

Mayo Sligo Leitrim Education Training Board (MSLETB) aims to provide enterprise relevant education and training opportunities for life and living in the region.

They are providing free* training opportunities for enterprises, and staf, to upskill under the Skills to Advance project.

This September in Castlebar and in October in Sligo MSLETB will host the WOW Summits.

This summit gives employers an opportunity to see first-hand the quality of trainers and facilitators who will be delivering our programmes in 2019.

The WOW Summits will also provide employers with the tools to develop their workforce.

There will be keynote speakers presenting on the future world of work, and explaining why having a skilled, engaged workforce is the key to success in this rapidly changing business environment.

The WOW Summit is a must for any business owners or HR managers who want to develop their enterprise through upskilling.

Peter Egan, director of MSLETB, highlighted: “A 1% increase in training days leads to a 3% increase in productivity, so the share of overall productivity growth attributable to training is around 16%, Engaging with MSLETB, your ETB will assist you to sustain employment and enterprise growth in your organisation."

The WOW Summit Mayo edition will take place on Wednesday, September 25, from 9.30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Breaffy House Hotel Demesne Castlebar.

The WOW Summit Sligo edition will take place on Wednesday, October 2, from 9.30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Sligo Ballincar Road, Rosses Point.
