Two Mayo pharmacies are set to merge
TWO Mayo pharmacies are set to merge, it has been announced.
Bourke's Pharmacy, Main Street, Castlebar, will join the team of Staunton's Pharmacies in the town from October 1.
A professional notice issued by Bourke's Pharmacy explained: "Our aim is to combine the strengths of the two longest established family pharmacies in the county town in order to provide customers with the most comprehensive and patient focused service."
Bourke's Pharmacy will close on September 30 and, subject to the approval of customers, records will be transferred to Staunton's Pharmacy.
This process will take place under the supervision of Anne Bourke.
The statement by Anne Bourke continued: "We trust you will continue to give us your loyalty and support as you have in the past.
"Thank you for allowing us to be of service over the years and we look forward to working with Staunton's Pharmacy to enhance the service experience in our new environment.
"As always, I will continue to be available to assist you in whatever way I can."
