Áine Whelan, Ballyhaunis and Tourakeady

The death has occurred of Áine Whelan of Ballyhaunis and Tourmakeady.

She is sadly missed by her sister Vera, brothers Séan and Gerry, sister-in-law Anne, nephew, nieces and grand-niece, relatives and friends.

Reposing at St. Mary's Funeral Home, Tourmakeady, on Friday from 6 p.m. and removal to Tourmakeady Church at 8 p.m.

Funeral Mass on Saturday at 12 noon in Tourmakeady Church, followed by burial in Churchfield Cemetery.

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.

 

Brendan O'Hara, Carracastle

The death has occurred peacefully at the University Hospital Galway of Brendan O'Hara, Castleduff, Carracastle.

Beloved husband of Sheila, proud father of Michael (Carracastle), Chris (Nottingham) and Neil (Leicester) and adored grandfather of Hannah and Brendan Jr.

Predeceased by his much loved twin brother Pat (Nottingham) and dearly loved grandson, Conor, he is sadly missed by his brothers John (Kiltoom) Martin (Ballymahon) Kevin (Killasser) and sister Helena Caulfield (Leixlip), daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at the Horkan Funeral Home, Charlestown, on Friday evening from 5 to 8 p.m.

Funeral Mass on Saturday in St. James' Church, Carracastle, at 12 noon with burial afterwards in Carracastle Cemetery.

 

John Anderson, Westport

John Anderson, Kiltarsechane, Killawalla, Westport.

Predeceased by his sister Bridie, he is deeply regretted by his loving wife Rose, daughter Kathleen, sister Mary Walsh (Ballintubber), nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends

Reposing at Killawalla Community Centre on Friday evening from 5 p.m. with removal at 7 p.m. to St. Patrick's Church, Killawalla.

Requiem Mass at 12:00 noon on Saturday with the funeral proceeding to Killawalla Cemetery.

 

Liam Ainsworth, Westport and Tuam

Liam Ainsworth, St Enda's Avenue, Tuam, and Westport. Retired Army Sergeant.

Predeceased by his wife Maura and son Liamie, he is sadly missed by his son John, daughters Teresa, Jennifer and Anita, sons-in-law Padraic and Aiden, daughter-in-law Jennifer, grandchildren, sisters Helen, Eithne and Mary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Grogan's Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Tuam, from 6 p.m. on Friday evening.

Removal at 8 p.m. to the Cathedral of the Assumption.

Requiem Mass on Saturday at 11 a.m. with funeral afterwards to Tuam Cemetery.
