Status Yellow low temperature warning issued for Mayo

A STATUS Yellow low temperature warning has been issued for Mayo.

It comes into effect at 8 p.m. today and remains in place until 9 a.m. tomorrow.

Met. Èireann is forecasting very cold conditions with minimum air temperatures ranging between minus two and minus four Celsius.

There will be widespread frost with the risk of icy patches in places.
