Met Eireann extends its Status Yellow snow/ice warning for Mayo

MET Eireann has extended its Status Yellow snow/Ice warning for Mayo.

It is forecasting scattered wintry showers of hail, sleet and snow with some accumulations, especially on higher ground, and icy stretches on roads and footpaths.

The nationwide warning is valid until 10 a.m. on Monday.
