No increase in confirmed Covid-19 cases in Mayo

There has been no increase in the number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Mayo.

According to statistics measured at midnight on Friday and published by the HSE this evening, the figure remains at 522.

It is estimated over 350 Mayo cases have recovered to date.

Galway has 388 cases, Roscommon 235, Sligo 116 and Leitrim 66.

Nationally, the Health Protection Surveillance Centre has today been informed that a total of 12 people with Covid-19 have died.

There have now been a total 1,458 Covid-19 related deaths in Ireland.

As of 11 a.m. today, the HPSC has been notified of 236 new confirmed cases of Covid-19.

There is now a total of 22,996 confirmed cases of the virus in Ireland.

The HSE is working to identify any contacts the patients may have had to provide them with information and advice to prevent further spread.
