Tickets for the Connacht SFC final between Mayo and Galway at Croke Park on Sunday, July 25, will go on general sale on Monday.

The secretary of the Connacht Council, John Prenty, said they will be available at the usual ticket outlets.

He confirmed to The Connaught Telegraph the Mayo and Galway GAA County Board will receive their ticket allocations over the weekend.

And then remainder of the 18,000 tickets for the encounter can be purchased by members of the public on Monday.

Despite criticism over the switching of the fixture from Elverys MacHale Park to Croke Park, there is expected to be a significant demand for tickets as many families are planning day trips.
