Enjoy the music of Bob Dylan in converted Mayo schoolhouse

THE music of Bob Dylan is being presented in a most unique and intimate setting at a 150-year-old converted primary school building in Mayo this month.

The Bob Dylan Appreciation Society is the first in a series of unique performances being held at the Irish Folk Music School in Glenisland, Castlebar, over the next few months.

Taking place on Friday, October 29, at 8 p.m., Dylan's music will be presented by the teachers at the school.

Each month the music teachers will present their favourite songs of their favourite recording artists in their own style with a variety of traditional instruments.

Bob Dylan was the unanimous choice to kick off the series and the following month’s featured artist will be announced at each gig.

It's a non-alcohol event but there will be fresh coffee and tea available with a few goodies too.

Tickets are very limited for this unique evening of music so book now on eventbrite at https://www.eventbrite.ie/e/bob-dylan-appreciation-society-tickets-190586558527?aff=ebdssbdestsearch.
