Final line-ups sorted in Mayo Gaelic football championships

The line-ups for the Mayo Gaelic football championship finals are now known.

Joining Knockmore in the Connacht Gold SFC decider are Belmullet following their 2-7 to 0-9 victory over Westport in Ballina this afternoon.

Knockmore, the defending champions, were beaten by Belmullet in a tight game during the group stages and the final promises to be another close encounter.

In today's Egan Jewellers IFC semi-final, Ballyhaunis got the better of Louisburgh by two points (0-11 to 1-6) to set up a final against Mayo Gaels, while Lahardane overcame Swinford by 2-12 to 1-7 to maintain their intermediate status in the relegation final.

In the TF Royal Hotel JFC A semi-final, Cill Chomáin withstood a late comeback by Shrule/Glencorrib to secure a 0-9 to 0-7 win and qualify for the final, where Kilmeena await.

The junior B semi-finals were played today also, with Eastern Gaels beating Kilfian by 1-15 to 0-6 and Tourmakeady getting the better of Ballycroy by 2-8 to 1-9.

The finals in all grades are due to be played on the weekend of November 20/21.
