The following are Wednesday's death and funeral notices for Mayo.

MARTIN MCANDREW, BALLINA

Martin McAndrew, Pullathomas, Ballina, peacefully at Belmullet Community Hospital on December 1, 2021.

Predeceased by his daughter Geraldine McAndrew (Melmoth), parents Pat and Mary McAndrew (Gorthbrack), brothers Jack, Mickey and Patrick (Chappie) (Gorthbrack) and sister Bridgie Sweeney (Glengad).

Martin will be sadly missed by his loving and devoted family, wife Maureen, daughters Mary Sarah Henaghan (Tourmakeady), Muriel McCormack (Rossport), Sally Coady (Chicago), Ann McAndrew (Belfast), Ita Rafiq (UK) and Sinead McAndrew (Glengad), sons in law Jimmy Henaghan, Val McCormack, Tommy Coady (Chicago), Mohammed Rafiq (UK) and Jon Melmoth (UK), his 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, many friends and neighbours.

May Martin’s Kind and Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Remains will repose at his residence in Pullathomas on Thursday afternoon from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral cortège will leave his residence on Friday afternoon at 12:30 p.m. to arrive at Christ the King Church, Aughoose, for funeral Mass at 1 p.m.. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in Pullathomas Cemetery.

JOE MCDONNELL, SHRULE

The death has occured of Joe (Josie) McDonnell, Dalgan, Shrule and formerly of Killernan, Kilmaine. Peacefully at Mayo General Hospital on November 29.

Predeceased by his brothers John, Paddy and Jimmy, sisters Rita, Mary, Bridie and Una. Deeply mourned and sadly missed by his caring nephew Sean and loving sister Nora, nieces and nephews and all of his close extended family, neighbours and friends.

May he Rest in Peace.

Requiem Mass will be held at St. Joseph's Church, Shrule on Thursday at 12 p.m. with burial afterwards in Shrule Cemetery.

FRANCIS OWENS, FINNEY

Francis (Frank) Owens , Loughrea, Co. Galway and formerly Crawley, West Sussex, November 22, 2021.

Survived by his loving wife Kathleen (née Lydon), daughter Ann, son Edward, daughter in law Eloise, grandchildren Eleanor, Katie, Sophie, sisters Mary and Bridie, brother in law Tom, sisters in law Sarah, Mary and Jean, nephews and nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Mass for Francis Owens on Friday, at 12 noon in Church Immaculate Conception, Finney, with burial afterwards in Churchfield Cemetery, Tourmakeady.
