Mayo brothers set for PDC Q-School

Roundfort natives Martin and Conor Heneghan will begin their quests to join the world's top dart players in the Professional Darts Corporation as they enter UK Qualifying School this weekend.

Martin has enjoyed tremendous success in Irish darting circles. As well as playing and captaining Mayo and his country, he won his biggest singles title to date in claiming the WDF Europe Cup singles competition back in 2018 in Budapest.

His brother Conor has played with Ireland at youth level and won All-Ireland darts championships with Mayo. A multi-talented sports star, he plays soccer with Ballyglass FC and Gaelic football for Hollymount/Carramore. He was also part of Ballinrobe CS All-Ireland B Post-Primary School's triumph in 2017.

Most recently, the brothers have competed in the MODUS Online League, playing against the likes of former Lakeside world champion Martin Adams as former UK Open and World Grand Prix champion Robert Thornton.

They are wished all the best.
