Sr. Breege Breslin, Medical Missionaries of Mary, Drogheda, Co. Louth and formerly from Ballina and Kenya, on February 12, peacefully, in Aras Mhuire Nursing Home, Drogheda.

Predeceased by her parents, John and Kate, sisters, Mary (Sr Gemma MMM), Rita, Kathleen, Patricia and Monica, brothers, Pat, Michael, Sean, Willie and Vincent. Sadly missed by her brother Joe, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and their families, relatives and many friends, and her MMM community.

Funeral Mass (Private), Tuesday in Convent, followed by burial in St. Peter’s Cemetery.

JACQUELINE BRIDGETTE ELLIS, WESTPORT

Jacqueline Bridgette Ellis, Sheeaune, Westport, and late of Ardfert, Co. Kerry and Bray, Co. Wicklow. Jacqueline passed away peacefully at Mayo University Hospital.

Deeply regretted by her son David, partner Tom, sisters Helen and Maria, brother Joseph, grandchildren Bryan, Blaine, Shauna and Heather, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Navin's Funeral Home, Westport, on Tuesday from 5.30 p.m. - 6.30 p.m. Requiem Mass on Wednesday, at 11 a.m. in Drummin Church, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to the Gina Heraty Haiti Fund. House private, please.

JONATHAN LENEGHAN, BALLINA

Jonathan Leneghan, Drumsheen, Bonniconlon, Ballina, peacefully, after a short illness, at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin, surrounded by his family.

Deeply mourned by his loving mother Maureen, father Joe, brother John, sisters Maureen, Kathleen, Allison, Finola and Siobhan, brothers in law, grandmother Bridgie, uncles Kieran and Noel Ruane, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Remains reposing at Gallagher’s funeral home on Wednesday from 5.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. Removal from his residence on Thursday morning to the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Bonniconlon, arriving for 1 p.m. requiem Mass with burial afterwards in Bonniconlon Cemetery.

RICHARD MOORE, CASTLEBAR

Richard Moore, February 12, 2022, Drunconlon Close, Moneen Road, Castlebar and late of Tully West, Kildare, Baxter Healthcare employee, peacefully after a short illness at Mayo University Hospital.

Predeceased by his parents Michael and Sarah and brother Patrick. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Claire, son Michael and step son James Kilcourse, brothers John, Michael, Martin and Thomas, sisters Bridie, Sal, Mary, Noeline, Patricia and Carmel, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Remains reposing at Coady’s Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. with removal on Thursday at 11 a.m. for Funeral Mass at 11.30 a.m. in the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar.

Richard will be laid to rest afterwards in Castlebar New Cemetery.

Elaine Quinn (née Moylette), February 12, 2022, Crillaune, Ross, Castlebar and late of Islaneady, Castlebar, suddenly after a short illness at Mayo University Hospital.

Predeceased by her father Eamonn and father-in-law Jack. Deeply regretted by her heartbroken husband Paul, son Sean, daughter Amy, Mother Maureen, sisters Caroline (Monaghan), Breda (Mc Guire), brothers Edwin and Damien, brothers-in-law, Kieran, Michael (Mc Guire), Kevin, John, Micheal (Quinn), Christopher and Thomas, sisters-in-law Caitriona, Mary, Anne-Marie and Fiona, mother-in-law Margaret, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Remains reposing at St. Aidan’s Room in Islaneady on Tuesday evening from 5 p.m. with removal at 7pm to her Mother’s residence in Islaneady. Funeral cortège will arrive to St. Patrick’s Church, Islandeady on Wednesday morning, for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Elaine will be laid to rest afterwards in Parke Cemetery (via Newport Road and Pontoon Road).

J.P Lavin, Lurga, Charlestown - peacefully at the Mayo Hospice.

MADELINE MCCAFFERTY, BALLINA

The death has occurred of Madeline McCafferty (née Connaughton) of Mount Assumpta, Ballina and late of Rathreedane, Bonniconlon. Suddenly at Mayo University Hospital.

Predeceased by her parents Martin and Margaret Connaughton Rathreedane, Bonniconlon, husband Bobby, sons Noel and Raymond, daughter-in-law Mary, sisters Teresa and Eileen, brothers John Joe, Matt and Jimmy.

Madeline, sadly missed by her loving sons and daughters Norry, Sean, Valerie, Paula, Gabriel and Darina, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, 24 grandchildren, and her great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends.

Reposing at McGowan's Funeral Home, Ballina on Monday evening from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Funeral cortège will arrive to St. Patrick’s Church, Ballina on Tuesday morning for 11.30 a.m. requiem Mass followed by burial in Leigue Cemetery, Ballina.

MARAGRET MCHALE, BALLYCASTLE

Margaret McHale (née Kelly), peacefully at her home.

Predeceased by her husband Jack and her infant son Gerard Patrick.

Reposing at Lynn's funeral home, Killala, on Monday from 5 p.m. with removal at 7 p.m. to the church of The Sacred Heart, Kilfian for prayers at 7:30.

Mass of the Resurrection on Tuesday in Kilfian at 11:30 a.m., followed by burial in Kilfian cemetery.

TERESA MULGREW, CASTLEBAR

Teresa Mulgrew, February 11, 2022. (Late of Castlebar). Peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross.

Predeceased by her father John-Joe. Devoted mother and best friend of Caoimhe. She will be greatly missed by Caoimhe and also by her beloved son-in-law Kevin and cherished grandson Charlie. She will also be deeply missed by her mother Kathleen, sisters Mary, Anne, Bernadette, Geraldine and Martina, brothers Sean and Paraic, Caoimhe’s Dad Ger, sisters-in-law Mary and Pauline, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends especially her great friend Mark and work colleagues at GMIT.

Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Lower Kimmage Road on Monday from 3 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. and also on Tuesday prior to her removal to Mount Jerome Crematorium (Garden Chapel) arriving for 3 p.m. Funeral Service.

Beloved husband and best friend of Josie (nee McGowan), predeceased by his son Paul, parents Jim and Sadie, brothers Jim and Tommy and sister Sally, sadly missed by his loving wife, daughter Karen, grandchildren Sadie and Rian, sisters Maureen Durrant and Sandra, brothers Martin and Sean, Karen’s mother Iris, brothers-in-law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, work colleagues in the Bohemian Bar, neighbours extended family and friends.
