The following are Friday's death and funeral notices for Mayo.

MICHAEL GAUGHAN, DOOHOMA

The death has occurred of Michael Gaughan, better known as Mickey, formerly of Doohoma, London and Dublin at Sonas Nursing Home, Belmullet.

Predeceased by his parents Jim and Maggie, his brother's Eddie and Padraic.

Mickey will be sadly missed by his daughter Marjorie (USA), sons David and Ciaran (Dublin), Trevor (London), son-in-law, daughters-in-law and grandchildren.

Deeply regretted by his brother Tommy (London), sisters Annie Mai (London) and Kathleen (Crossmolina), brother-in-law Danny and sisters in law Margaret, Anne and May, nieces, nephews and a large circle of family and friends.

The funeral will arrive at St Pius X Church, Doohoma at 7 p.m. on Sunday.

Funeral Mass will be held on Monday at 12 noon, with burial afterwards in Doohoma Cemetery.

JOHN JOYCE, GLENBEG

John Joyce, Mildstown Road, Donaghpatrick, Navan, Co .Meath and formerly Glenbeg, Co. Mayo and Newcastle, UK. Suddenly but peacefully at his residence.

Predeceased by his parents Mark and Mary, brothers Michael, Martin, Tommy and Paddy, sister Bridie, Mary, Kathleen, Philomena and Eileen.

John will be deeply regretted by his sisters Nora Canty (Canada), Peggy McGrath (New York) and Theresa Murray (Glasnevin), brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, good neighbours and friends.

Reposing at St. Joseph's Chapel of Rest, Old Johnstown, Navan (C15 C425) on Saturday from 4 p.m. followed by removal at 5:15 p.m. to arrive at St John the Baptist Church, Kilberry for 6 p.m. Funeral Mass on Sunday morning at 11:30 a.m. which can be viewed on https://www.moxleyproductions.com/vidfuneral-home. Burial afterwards in Gibbstown Cemetery.

TERESA CAHILL, BALLA

The death has occurred of Teresa Cahill (née McDonnell), in her 84th year, Prizon Road, Balla, and late of Woodside, New York. February 14th 2022, peacefully in New York, surrounded by her loving nieces.

Predeceased by her husband Kieran, daughter Pauline, sisters Celia, Kathleen, Peggy, Della, and Julie, brothers Al, Richard and Michael. She will be sorely missed by her family, friends, and neighbours on both sides of the Atlantic.

ANN GRADY, BALLYHAUNIS

Ann (Gertie) Grady (née Baxter), Kinnegha, Tooreen, Ballyhaunis, and formerly Omagh, Co. Tyrone. Peacefully, in Mayo University Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Deeply regretted by her children Dean (Fermanagh), Amanda (Milan) and Declan (Tipperary), daughters-in-law Antona and Vivienne, son-in-law Simone, grandchildren Dilyn, Evie, Lily-Marie, Ricky, Gabri, Abigail and Carl, her sisters Teresa and Mary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends. Predeceased by her husband John.

Ann will be reposing in Gavin's Funeral Home, Knox Street, Ballyhaunis, on Friday evening from 5 o'clock until 7 o'clock. Funeral arriving to St. Mary's Church, Tooreen, on Saturday afternoon for Funeral Mass at 1 o'clock with the funeral proceeding to Aghamore Cemetery. Family Flowers only, please.
