Mayo athlete selected to represent Ireland at Euro Under 18 Championships

Athletics Ireland has selected 20 athletes to represent Ireland at the European Uner 18 Championships in Jerusalem, Israel, from July 4 to 7.

Among them is Ballinrobe's Oisín Joyce, who is a member of Lake District AC. He will be competing for Ireland in the javelin competition.

Overall, Ireland is sending a team of 20 athletes to Israel for the championships, with competitors in all track and field disciplines – sprints, hurdles, middle distance, walks, jumps and throws – from all four provinces.
