Oisín Mullin's Mayo departure is confirmed

Mayo GAA has announced that Oisín Mullin has accepted an offer to play with the Geelong Cats in the Australian Football League.

“We at Mayo GAA want to wish Oisín the best in his new endeavour and thank him for all the memories,” the organisation said in a statement released today.

“Thank you Oisin for all your contributions to the county. We wish you all the best for the future.”

Mullin made his debut with Mayo on January 25, 2020, in the Allianz National Football League against Donegal. He won two Connacht senior championship titles with Mayo, in 2020 and 2021, and played in the All-Ireland finals in both those years.

His exploits with Mayo in those two seasons saw him win an All-Star and become Young Footballer of the Year twice in succession.
