Kildare official confirmed for Division 1 league final between Mayo and Galway

Kildare official Brendan Cawley will referee Sunday's Allianz National Football League Division 1 final between Mayo and Galway at Croke Park (throw-in 4 p.m.).

The Sarsfields man has made steady progress up the refereeing ladder in recent years and this represents a big game in his career thus far.

It's also a big day for Mayo's very own Liam Devenney, who will will take charge of the Allianz NFL Division 2 decider between Derry and Dublin, also on Sunday in Croke Park (1.45 p.m.).

On duty on Saturday evening for the Allianz NFL Division 4 final between Sligo and Wicklow (Croke Park, 5 p.m.) will be Down's Paul Faloon, with Anthony Nolan of Wicklow taking charge of the Allianz NFL Division 3 decider between Cavan and Fermanagh (Croke Park, 7.15 p.m.).

The man in the middle for Mayo's quarterfinal contest with Armagh in the All-Ireland Under 20 B hurling championship (Richie McElligott Cup) on Saturday in Longford will be Cavan's James Clarke, with Mayo referee James Judge taking control of Roscommon's tussle with Tyrone at the same stage of the same championship on Sunday.
