Green light for 33-house development in Mayo's county town

A 33-unit housing development in Castlebar has been given the green light by planners.

The project developers are M&M Prime Holdings Ltd. The site to be developed is at Turlough Road, Knockthomas.

Permission has been granted by Mayo County Council for the construction of 33 houses, including one three-bedroom, two-storey detached house, four 3-bedroom 2-storey semi-detached dwellings, six 3-bedroom, 2-storey terraced houses, and 22 two-bedroom houses in terraces of three and four houses.

The development will also consist of the provision for a new access road from Turlough Road along with all ancillary site and services works.

No third party objections to the development were lodged with the council.
