Celebrate self-care in Mayo at The Lodge at Ashford
Some of Ireland’s leading self-care aficionados are coming together to help stage a very special event in Cong this month.
A unique partnership between The Lodge at Ashford Castle and local charity Mayo Cancer Support will see the staging of Nurture – A Celebration of Self-Care on Sunday, May 14.
To nurture means to care and protect, and that is exactly what Mayo Cancer Support does for people affected by cancer. It does so by providing emotional support through a suite of free services grounded in the principles of self-care and relaxation to help people navigate their cancer journey.
Join some of Ireland's best-known personalities on May 14 next for a day-long celebration of self-care in all of its forms in the stunning setting of The Lodge at Ashford Castle.
Special guests will include Siobhan O'Hagan, fitness and nutrition coach, as MC; Sarah Battle (of House by the Whitethorns Instagram account) with Orla Sheridan, personal stylist and shopper; make-up artist Laura Broderick; Phoebe and Ismay McVey of Gorgeous Locks Hair Salon in Galway and the Gym Goddess brand; Niamh Ryan, skin expert, reflexologist and co-founder of Ella & Jo Cosmetics; and Noelene Cashin-Cafolla, mental health care and wellness therapist, and Mayo Cancer Support board member.
Highlights of the day include hair, make-up, skincare and styling demos, lots of self-care and wellness tips, sumptuous light bites, fantastic goodie bags, a raffle and lots more.
