Appeal for information as Justice for Joe banner is damaged

A ROADSIDE banner seeking justice for the late Joe Deacy, who died in 2017, has been vandalised.

The Justice for Joe banner is located along the N5, at the Gortnasillagh/Kinaffe junction outside Swinford, and was damaged on Friday afternoon.

An appeal for information has been issued on the Justice for Joe Facebook page.

Joe's family will mark the sixth anniversary of losing their son and brother this August and continue their campaign for justice over his death after he was found injured outside a house at Gortnasillagh.

The campaign banner had been restored and put back in place in recent weeks.

It was temporarily repaired again over the weekend.
