Major development at south Mayo GAA grounds approved

PLANS for major works at a south Mayo GAA club have been approved by Mayo Council.

Shrule/Glencorrib GAA and LGFA Club has been granted full planning permission for the construction of an all weather GAA pitch with walkway, an all weather astro, floodlights serving both, a new spectator stand, and a car park with accessible spaces and bus parking.

A new playground is also part of the development.

Welcoming the approval, the club, on its social media, said this next phase of development will be a great addition to both the club and the community.
