Work starts on new roundabout designs in Mayo county town

Works have commenced on a new landscape design on the busy roundabout located at Lannagh Road in Castlebar, near McDonald's Restaurant.

This is a joint effort between Mayo County Council and Castlebar Tidy Towns.

Welcoming the news, Councillor Deere said the Lannagh Road roundabout and the one at Moneen had become unsightly and they needed a new look.

Works will commence on the Moneen roundabout once the Lannagh Road one is fully completed.
