Citylink and Connacht Rugby extend partnership for three more years

Connacht Rugby and Citylink have announced an extension of their partnership for a further three years.

The bus company will continue its role as official coach supplier to Connacht Rugby until the end of the 2026/27 season for the senior men’s and women’s teams and age grade squads at the province.

Sarah Comer, regional general manager of Irish Citylink, commented: “Citylink are absolutely delighted to extend our partnership with Connacht Rugby for a further three years.

“We see Citylink as providing a top-class service to our passengers throughout our network of routes across Ireland, but the west of Ireland and Connacht will always be our home, and so we are immensely proud to be continuing this collaboration.

“With the redevelopment of Dexcom Stadium, the continued success of the women’s provincial championship, not to mention the participation and viewership of rugby going from strength to strength across Ireland, it is an incredibly exciting time for Citylink to be involved with Connacht Rugby.

“From transporting the men’s and women’s teams on-board the famous Citylink Connacht team coach, to bringing the brilliant travelling Connacht Clan supporters around the country and beyond, Citylink are proud to deliver best-in-class coach transport to the extended Connacht Rugby family.

“Wishing Connacht every success over the next three seasons - Connacht abú!”

Philip Patterson, head of commercial and marketing at Connacht Rugby, added: “We’re thrilled to renew our partnership with Citylink for a further three years. Citylink provide an invaluable service to our professional, women and age grade squads, and to our Connacht Clan Supporters Club who follow us every step of the way.

“Connacht Rugby will always be keen to support successful businesses that began their journey in the province, and Citylink are a prime example of such a story. We look forward to seeing them continue to go from strength to strength, and we sincerely thank them for their continuing support.”
