Mayo schools join forces with WhistleBlast Quartet for Strong Together
The Mayo performance of the WhistleBlast Quartet's composition programme for 2025, entitled Strong Together, features students from Ballina Youthreach and St. Dymphna’s Special School, Ballina, in an inclusive performance of original live music.
Students will perform their own composed works in a concert that will also feature WhistleBlast Quartet, all taking place in Ballina Arts Centre on Tuesday, May 20, at 1 p.m.
Admission is free but tickets are required. To book, contact Ballina Arts Centre on (096) 73593.
This is an inclusive show that's suitable for everybody. It's a great introduction to live music up close, with familiar songs, new works, and symphonic excerpts.
Students from Youthreach will also perform their new composition in a grand finale with nationwide performers in Galway.
Youthreach is a second chance education provider for young people who have left mainstream education for varying reasons.
