Mayo football club hosting 50th anniversary celebration event

CASTLEBAR Town FC is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.

A big celebration will take place in Garbo's on Saturday, September 20, at 8.30 p.m.

Join them as they celebrate 50 years of football in Castlebar, from the early days as Barcastle and Castlebar United, to today's Castlebar Town.

There will be lots of entertainment, with a €10 cover charge (strictly over 18s), and all attendees will be entered into a raffle, with lots of prize.

Be you a past or present member, come along and enjoy a special evening of reflection, stories and community.

Members past and present are also invited to share their photos with the club for the anniversary celebrations. Photos can be sent to Castlebartownfc@gmail.com. Or join them this Friday evening at the clubhouse from 6 to 8 p.m. to have your photos scanned. (See poster below).
