Additional funds sought for Mayo lakeside car park

EXTRA funding is being sought for car park works at Lough Lannagh in Castlebar.

A start date has been queried by Councillor Blackie Gavin, who said money had been granted.

Senior engineer Pat McHale said the council is very anxious to start it.

They have a certain amount of funding and have applied for additional monies, and are waiting to see if they get this.

This, he said, would enhance the project they can deliver.
