Loading bay needed at post office in Mayo county town

A SMALL loading bay is needed outside the post office in Castlebar, a local municipal district meeting was told.

There’s no place for postal vans to pull in, Councillor Blackie Gavin has highlighted.

Representations, he said, have been made about the need for a bay.

There’s space for a loading bay at the location, on Hopkins Road, and he has asked the council to look at putting one in place.
