Rain to push into Mayo on Thursday afternoon

Thursday morning will bring sunny spells and well-scattered showers across Mayo.

It will turn cloudier through the afternoon as rain and drizzle gradually extend northeastwards, reaching all areas by later evening or early night.

Highest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees in moderate to fresh southwest winds, easing light to moderate southerly later in the day.

Thursday night will be cloudy with outbreaks of rain. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 9 degrees with moderate southerly winds developing, fresher near coasts.

Friday will bring plenty of sunshine and just passing showers.

Highest temperatures of 9 to 11 degrees with light to moderate west to northwest winds, occasionally increasing fresh and gusty.
