Tributes to staff member of Mayo welcome centre on his passing

The death has occurred of Victor Ozaime Ofuje, Breaffy Welcome Centre, Breaffy, Castlebar, and formerly of Igarra Local Government Akoko Edo, Nigeria.

His death at University Hospital Galway has evoked immense sadness and loss.

The deceased was a member of the staff at Breaffy Welcome Centre.

He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Omolara Rosemary Ofuje and children Desire Ukataishomoshi Ofuje, Divine Ofureku Ofuje, Dominion Ujeoshomoshi Ofuje and Diamond Ayuvaoshomoshi Ofuje, his mother Grace Omotayo Ozaime, brothers and sisters Samson Ozaime, Goodness Ozaime, James Ozaime, Blessing Ozaime, Miracle Ozaine and his many friends, to whom sympathy is tendered

Warm tributes are being paid to Victor on social media.

One stated: "As a work colleague he was outstanding in his care, diligence and respect."

Another said: "Such a kind and caring man."

A further tribute said: "He was a calm and easy going person."

Reposing at Kilcoyne’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Castlebar, this evening (Wednesday) from 6 to 8 p.m.

Funeral Service takes place on Thursday at 12 noon in RCCG Christ the King Parish, Unit 12A, N5 Business Park, Moneen, Castlebar.

Interment takes place afterwards in Breaffy Cemetery.
