A notable double for Mayo's popular tapas and wine restaurant

La Casa-Tapas & Wine in Claremorris has scored a notable double at the Yes Chef Ireland Awards 2026 held at the Fairways Hotel in Dundalk.

The popular dining premises was 'Highly Commended for World Food' in the national category and took the top accolade for 'Best Small Plates' in the provincial section.

Since opening on December 2023 the husband and wife team, Caroline Boyle and Aleksandar Dimitrov, have gone from strength to strength with diners coming from all over Mayo and Connaught to try their Tapas dishes and coming back.
