€10,000 donation for Western Care from Stars in Their Eyes fundraiser

WESTERN Care Association has warmly welcomed a €10,000 donation made by Westport United arising from their recent community event, Stars In Their Eyes - All Stars Reunited.

Westport United chose Western Care as charity partner for the much-anticipated event which brought back local talent for a night of entertainment and nostalgia, all in aid of two causes.

Speaking on the partnership between the two organisations, interim CEO Anne Chambers expressed her gratitude: “Our partnership with Westport United is longstanding and is something we deeply value, particularly through initiatives like the Football for All programme, which creates such meaningful opportunities for the people we support.

“This €10,000 donation will have a lasting impact on the lives of the people we support, and we are incredibly grateful for the sense of community Westport United brings to our organisation.”

Western Care extended its sincere thanks to everyone involved in organising and supporting the event, including performers, volunteers, sponsors, and attendees, whose collective efforts made such a meaningful contribution possible.
