Murray’s Funfair rolled into the town's Military Barracks ahead of the weekend for a 10-day run until Sunday, May 10.
A much loved tradition with a rich history, the family-run funfair has been travelling across Ireland for over 100 years, bringing generations of joy to communities nationwide.
This year marks the funfair’s first stop in the west of Ireland for the new season, making Castlebar a special starting point for what promises to be another memorable tour.
Known for its lively atmosphere and wide variety of attractions, Murray’s Funfair offers something for everyone, from young children to thrill seeking adults.
Visitors can experience the excitement of the high speed Freestyle ride, enjoy the classic fun of the bumping cars, take a spin on the ever-popular Waltzers, or opt for a more relaxed and magical journey aboard the family-friendly Samba Balloons.

Murray’s Funfair opens nightly from 7 p.m. with extended hours on weekends and the Bank Holiday Monday, opening from 2 p.m. to give families even more time to enjoy the attractions.
