Mayo pupil a winner in Maths Eyes competition

Congratulations to Ciara Nicholson from Louisburgh National School who was a joint winner in the Have you Got Maths Eyes? competition - best picture category.

Ciara's picture, 'Odd One Out', was chosen from over 600 entries across Ireland.

Her teacher, Emma Gaughan, entered Ciara in this competition which encourages young people to look out for maths that is evident in our everyday lives.

Ciara was presented with her prize by the Minister for Education, Hildegarde Naughton, in the Department of Education, Dublin.
