Mayo school announces fashion show and pop-up shopping experience

BALLINA'S Newtownwhite ETNS has officially announced its upcoming charity fashion show and pop-up shopping experience.

The high-energy community event will take place at the Great National Hotel Ballina on Sunday, May 17, with doors opening at 2 p.m.

The event promises a fantastic day of local style and retail therapy, with proceeds directly supporting the school's primary fundraising efforts. Guests will have the opportunity to browse and shop curated items from top independent creators when doors open at 2 p.m. and during the designated show interval, followed by the main fashion show starting at 4 p.m.

Students will model the latest styles from Hughes Children's Boutique in Ballina and Penneys. For the adults' runway, models will showcase incredible looks from local favourites Mary H's Boutique, Rosa Boutique in Ballina, and Fashion Scene in Charlestown.

Outfits will be styled with stunning, handmade statement jewellery by Irish designer Rothlú, all set to runway beats curated by DJ Pat.

"We are incredibly excited to bring our community together for a brilliant day of fashion that champions local makers and directly impacts the children at Newtownwhite ETNS," said Elaine Ormsby, spokesperson for the Newtownwhite ETNS event coordination committee.

Tickets can be purchased directly through the iDonate ticket page, link in school’s instagram bio. Supporters who are unable to make the event in person are also invited to use the link to submit digital contributions.
