It’s time to Rejoice at Mayo's Belleek Castle!
Music lovers are in for an uplifting evening on Friday, May 22, as Ballina’s Rejoice Gospel Choir brings its vibrant sound to the stunning setting of Belleek Castle for their annual summer concert.
Known for their powerful harmonies, joyful performances and soulful interpretations of gospel and contemporary music, Rejoice Gospel Choir has been captivating audiences with their live performances at local, national and international level for decades.
Their upcoming summer concert at 8 p.m. on May 22 next promises an inspirational blend of traditional gospel, modern favourites, and feel-good classics, all delivered with energy, passion and fun.
Rejoice is delighted to have the stunning Belleek Castle as the venue for its much-anticipated summer concert for the second year in a row. The combination of the choir’s rich sound and the castle’s intimate ambiance is sure to once again create a memorable evening for attendees.
Led by musical director Jack Cronin, Rejoice is thrilled to be accompanied on the night by their own musicians Joanne McAndrew (keyboard) and Sharon Crean (guitar) as well as much-loved and talented local band Bourbon Smoke, whose musical stylings will add an extra touch of magic to the choir’s summer concert.
The audience can expect the usual eclectic set list from Rejoice. The charismatic choir’s annual concert gives them an opportunity to showcase a musical dynamism that will have feet tapping, hands clapping and everyone singing along.
And of course, the choir has packed in lots of surprises to ensure value for money and maximum enjoyment on the night, including a performance by one very well-known mystery special guest.
“We’re thrilled to be returning to Belleek for this year’s summer concert,” said musical director, Jack Cronin. “We’ve been working really hard to prepare for this concert, which is all about bringing people together through music, joy and community spirit.”
