Historical society presents Through the streets of Claremorris 1900-1925

CLAREMORRIS Historical Society will host Through the streets of Claremorris 1900-1925, an illustrated talk to mark the recent publication of the 1926 Census, in Claremorris Town Hall on Monday evening, May 18, at 7.45 p.m.

This special event will allow you to step back in time and experience life in Claremorris as it was at the beginning of the 20th century, just before the census was taken.

The presentation will feature full colour images of dozens of people and places taken in Claremorris in the early 20th century, which have been beautifully restored by Andrew Newman, and local historian Colmán Ó Raghallaigh will present the fascinating stories behind each of them.

Admission is free and all are welcome.
